For 3 decades, the busy city of Calamba has been my home.

Now that I’m bound to move the other side of the world, I can’t help but feel emotional that I no longer be here with my family and friends.

But instead of thinking of this as abandoning my home, I’d like to think of it as extending it. I’m building a new home with my loving husband. We’re starting to build a life. I’m starting to open up my mind more to things I didn’t have available to me when I was younger.

New experiences, new places, new people.

I admit, it is scary, but life is supposed to be filled with unknowns. The fun part is unfolding what happens next.

Sa aking lupang sinilangan, hanggang sa muli. 🙂
