Week 4: 23 January – 30 January
This week’s rewirement activities are my main goals for the year: Sleep for at least 6 hours a day and do at least 10 minutes every day. I’m not sure if I mentioned this ever in this blog, but I ahve PCOS. I was diagnosed last 2019 and my OB-GYN told me to live more healthily. She put emphasis on exercise. I started working for 3 km a day to get to work since then. However, pandmic hit, and like for most of our activities, my health was heavily affected. So, I’m making it a habit to move every day and make sure I spread my productivity throughout the day so I won’t cram anything in the evening.

Thoughts:
I had problems sleeping this week. I keep getting unwanted thoughts and nightmares that I unexpectedly get up at odd times. Several articles suggest that this might be caused by the room’s temperature. It’s still cold in the PH because of Amihan and we can definitely feel it. I love this weather by the way. My sleep was restored last Sunday. I feel so energised when I woke up this Monday morning.
As for exercise, I’m not sticking to a specific workout routine. I get bored quickly and I do exercises based on what I feel like at the moment. I always do my workouts at home and recently, I tried jogging place. It’s super simple and super exhausting. I can’t get past 3 minutes this morning. I’ll definitely continue this tomorrow!
My day is always determined by how well I’ve slept. If I wake up on the wrong side of the bed, exercise is out of the picture. And if I don’t move for at least 10 minutes in the morning, I’ll be grumpy throughout the day. Note to myself: Sleep to feel happy, move to feel happy.
